Description

Vandoren OPTIMUM LC080P ligature and cap for V16 tenor saxophone mouthpiece (or similar) is one of the most widely used gold plated ligature, and the main feature lies in its fast and symmetrical closing system.

This ligature holds the reed firmly on the mouthpiece, and fits perfectly so that there is no problem when playing the saxophone, with quick and precise adjustment.

Three interchangeable pressure plates are included with different pressure points on the reed, depending on the sound color we may get: each plate brings different characteristics to your sound, facilitating different aspects such as flexibility, emission or articulation.

The first of the plates facilitates a sonority rich in harmonics, color and sound projection. The pressure in the same direction of the reed fibers facilitates the staccato articulation.

The second plate provides a more compact and centered sonority, sweetness and ease of emission.

The third plate allows the reed to vibrate with total freedom, producing a sound that adapts to unique playing style. Great ease of expression.

Includes plastic mouthpiece cap that fits perfectly with the mouthpiece and the ligature. This ligature works very well for beginner or advanced saxophonists.
