Selmer Signature alto saxophone

Continuing the renewal of its instrument catalog, Henri SELMER Paris presents its new range of alto and tenor saxophones, the Signature models.

They embody the evolution of the Super Action 80 Series II and Series III saxophones, improving the acoustic and ergonomic qualities by drawing inspiration from the latest innovations applied to the Supreme model.

These models offer great playing versatility, adapted to all levels of saxophonists, and are the natural union between the Axos family - the entry into the professional range - and the Supreme - the top of the range.

The name Signature highlights the identity of inventor and manufacturer Henri SELMER Paris, built throughout its history.

The Selmer Signature alto sax embodies the renewal of the Super Action 80 Série II model, which has marked the history of the saxophone since its appearance in 1986. While maintaining the sound characteristics of the Series II, it offers improved intonation, particularly in the treble, and enhances the low register.

Its ergonomics, also inspired by the Series II to meet the needs of all musicians, benefit from the latest innovations developed by Supreme: new 3-point embouchure system for a better homogeneity of sound, nickel silver locking ring for greater density in this sensitive area, octave key with Teflon bearings for greater mechanical fluidity...
