Berg Larsen Tenor Duckbill 100/1, original cap and ligature

Here is an original Berg Larsen ‘duckbill’ stainless steel tenor mouthpiece. It is stamped 100/1. includes the original brass cap and ligature.

This is an early example before they started designating chamber/baffle configurations and is finished wonderfully as many of these early gems were. This was the preferred size of famous Berg player, Yusef Lateef. These are a great match for horns of the same era and play well with nice, warm air for a big sound that projects easily and doesn’t take as much effort as the larger chamber designs of the time.
