Made of rubber without a ligature and a cap.

This mouthpiece is modeled after the vintage Meyer. The sound is very resonant, fat and clear such as the New York Meyer. This handmade mouthpiece is made of the best quality hard rubber and created elaborately by skillful craftsmen. The opening size of this mouthpiece is almost the same as that of Meyer.

   Wood Stone is Ishimoris’ original brand. It comes from Ishimori itself, “ISHI” means “Stone” and “MORI” means “Wood”. “Wood Stone” is the original Brand that Ishimori Wind Instruments Co., Ltd. In Tokyo established to meet variety of player´s needs.

  Wood Stone brand was born 24 years ago starting from manufacturing a ligature by Shinji Ishimori, the developer and the craftsman.

  The theory of this brand is based on the ideas like “this product would be good” or “this product would be useful”. Ishimori always produces items with such ideas in mind. He wants his brand to meet as many needs as possible. They are going to expand a variety of our products to the world as well as in Japan. Nowadays you can find saxophones (alto and tenor), ligatures, mouthpieces, reeds, sax straps or thumb rests.

  Wood Stone products can meet the craftsman ideal only when it is made by hand. In fact, all the screws of their ligatures are hand-made. The hand-made product is not impersonal and not strictly structured like the machine product. Rather it can be flexible and make a flexible curve.
