Cannonball Alto Saxophone, "Gerald Albright Signature Series" GA5-SB

In collaboration with Gerald Albright, Cannonball has designed the elaborate hand engraving that adorns each saxophone with a surprisingly elegant look. Gerald chose the type of stone, the black Italian pads, and the select finishes that perfectly complement the purpose of these saxophones: to embody the bold and soulful sound played no better than by the master himself, Gerald Albright.

The Big Bell®, created by Cannonball in 2001, extends the range of dynamics to achieve greater depth of sound colour. The increased size of the bell also lends itself to a large, warm sound.

Each saxophone in the Gerald Albright Series comes with two custom saxophone necks. The second neck, the FAT® model, has an octave hole at the bottom of the neck, creating less resistance to airflow, getting full sound with more low frequencies, more mid-range frequencies and less high frequencies.
