A deflector inspired by Fibonacci
Nature is governed by its own physical laws, constructing movement and forms that harmonise and embellish it. One of these principles described by Leonardo de Pisa is the one that leads us to design a deflector (wrongly called resonator) in which the sound is reflected, thus enhancing the natural harmonics. These small brass pieces have a design inspired by the curve of the golden number and are installed in each of the saxophone's pads or inside the heads of the flutes. Surprisingly, projection and core sound, antagonistic in acoustic principle, tend to meet.
